By the end of this event, you will be more familiar with:
- How to adjust camera settings for low light.
- Using slow shutter speeds to get brighter images and create light trails.
- Capturing RAW images.
- Guidelines for shooting other people and their property in the real world.

Architectural photography can be a great way of exploring and documenting a city, whether it's your home or on holiday. Its about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer's eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures.

In this session, we will be covering how to better understand Architecture photography and we'll be looking at ways to take some impressive shots and the camera settings to use.

Metering is an incredibly important aspect of photography to grasp. You might have heard about the exposure triangle but I believe we should be talking about an exposure square with metering being the forth side as it is equally as important to getting the correct exposure as your aperture, ISO and shutter speed.
We will explore how and when to use each of the metering options and how to use it to get some creative lighting in your shots.

The bird was found injured and will never fly again and wouldn't be able to survive without help, so Fort Worth Nature Center is keeping the bird in captivity for the remainder of its natural life. They are not a commonly found this far North, so I thought it would make a good photo to add to my collection since I I usually photograph wildlife of all sorts, landscapes, and nature. This was my first night with my new Nikon Z9, and the Tamron SP 150-600mm G2 lens she bought me for an anniversary gift. The moon was shining brightly after just clearing the trees in our back yard.
