Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Fort Worth.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

    The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

    I loved this class. It is the 3rd beginner's class I have taken and this was the only one that I finally understood. Small class and a lot of 1 on 1 and practice in this class. I will definitely take another one from this instructor! He was very helpful and patient :)

    Monday, February 19, 2024 at approximately 3:25&8239PM, Walking between animal habitats at the Fort Worth Zoo. I spotted the blue Hyacinth Macaw on a tree next to one of the main walk paths. I raised the heavy 600mm f4 telephoto up to my eye to just observe the beautifully pigmented parrot through the lens for a more intimate look as I watched the Hyacinth clean and ruffle its feathers.     On Monday, Feb 19, 2024, at approximately 3:17 PM I was walking by the Leopard habitat at the Fort Worth Zoo and began to observe the two big cats in the enclosure. There was a strong agile Leopard prowling around, giving visitors a show as it would playfully ambush jump on a black coated Leopard the second large cat inside the enclosure. I moved around the outer exhibit to get playful photos of the two and then lined up this beautiful capture of the Leopard as it stalked forward with its head

    As a deep space photographer, I like to take photos of outer space targets that our eyes cannot see. These photos require a lot of patience and a lot of clear nights reason why my telescopes are working almost every night when it isn't cloudy.
